F2 Home Improvement started as F Tile. We still lay every tile ourselves, and now we run the whole remodel around it: demolition, waterproofing, tile and finish. We work across Greater Philadelphia, Delaware and northeastern Maryland.

The part you won't see
Tile is only as good as what's behind it
Grout isn't waterproof. What keeps water out of your walls is the system under the tile, and that's where we spend the time.
- SubstrateWalls and floor checked for flat, plumb and solid. Rot or soft subfloor gets fixed before anything goes on top.
- MembraneA continuous waterproofing membrane over walls, bench and pan, with seams and corners sealed.
- Slope & drainThe pan is sloped to the drain so water leaves the shower instead of sitting in the grout.
- LayoutTile is laid out before it's set: centered niches, balanced cuts, grout lines that line up.

We see the space, measure, talk through tile and fixtures, and send a written estimate.
Demo & prep
We protect the rest of the house, tear out, haul away and fix what's under the old finishes.
Waterproof & install
Membranes, backer, then tile. Layout is confirmed with you before the first piece is set.
Finish & walkthrough
Grout, caulk, fixtures and cleanup, then we walk the finished room together.

Who we are
A family business that grew out of a tile company
We started as F Tile in 2019, setting tile for homeowners and for other contractors. Homeowners kept asking us to take on the whole room, so we did.
In 2026 we became F2 Home Improvement Inc. The company is bigger now, but it's still family-run, and the people who quote your job are the people on site. We want you to deal with us directly, not a sales team.

Before you call
Are estimates really free?
Yes. We come out, look at the space, take measurements and talk through what you want. You get a written estimate with no obligation.
Do you do the whole bathroom, or just the tile?
The whole job: demolition, framing fixes, waterproofing, tile, and the finish work. Licensed trades such as plumbing and electrical are coordinated as part of the project where they are needed.

Greater Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania suburbs, northern Delaware and northeastern Maryland — including Philadelphia, King of Prussia, West Chester, Media, Doylestown, Wilmington, Newark and Elkton. See all service areas.
Do I need a permit for my remodel?
It depends on the scope and the municipality. Moving plumbing, electrical work and structural changes usually need one; a straight tile replacement often doesn't. We tell you at the walkthrough and confirm the requirements with your township, borough or city before work starts.
Can you work with tile or fixtures I already bought?
Usually, yes. Tell us what you have when you book the estimate so we can check sizes, quantities and the substrate it needs.
